Today is a bad day:( one of the worst in my life. I heard 2 really really bad news within a span of 10 mins. Everything happened for a reason.. I was not supposed to be in the office today but I went back... Just as I was abt to leave, I met a lady whom I had respected. She is a confident woman and she is always smiling. Today, I saw tears in her eyes, she shared a piece of devastating news, I was speechless... As when she got ready to go off, another devastating new greeted me, I was .............. Dear Carrie and Jerome, You are really 2 very important people in my life. Jerome, you are now 7 and had started school, you are now exploring and widening your social circle. You are learning by the mins, by the seconds, I love talking to you and listening to you each night before bedtime. You have grown to be a very thoughtful boy, but very sensitive too. There are times when you faced frustrations and stress, you are learning to manage them now. We'll be by your side, ok:) Just like how you resolved the problem when one of your classmates disturbed you many times, now you are good friends. How your feelings towards the friend changed from resentment, anger to being tolerant, to being forgiving and finally acceptance. This is an impt lesson, all these tough times you faced and will be facing will only make you a better person as long as you are willing to face it with your heart:) Remember, we are by yr side, all the times! You have been a wonderful brother, most of the times:) Carrie, you love your brother as much:) You imitate everything he does, remember - "Carrie, are you a copycat?" "No, I am a Teddy bear!" when Gor Gor talks about his sch each night, "Mummy, I also want to talk abt my sch!" you really melt our hearts, you are very stubborn at times, you are learning how to deal with accepting "NO" as an answer. Take your time dear, it's ok. We'll be by yr side:) Each time when we knock into something or say ouch, u wil say ,"r u ok?" Each time the phone rings, if it's Nai Nai, you wld ask in yr fluent CL,"Chi bao le Mei you." If it's Po Po, "Ni zai na li?" so funny... You have a pretty heart, keep it up:) Let's pray hard for the 2 kids ...
