We finally made it to the beach, only to find a sandpit... All's not lost yet. Well, u were actually very mindful of the sand for the first few minutes but after that, u were sitting down on the sand,, scooping, digging, burying, throwing, running ..... etc .... the next destination? A real beach!

This is one of the things that u learn effortlessly, it;s like u just know how to do this:) The flying turtle was given to us by Papa's colleague but it was broken. Think will be getting u a new one! We'll see...

Who is mummy's favourite boy?

u respond very well to this question. U began picking up writing skills. To date, you know how to write and spell "JEROME" and "NIN"(Kakak's name). Pretty proud of you,dear... I also realise that you are really always testing pepole's patient. You would be an extremely nice boy when we are patient wiht you. But when we lose the patient, you would "act up" This I hope of course is yet but another phase of your life. U r fully toilet trained by now, it happen magically. Have I ever mentioned that u can do colouring very well? Papa started u on "Little Notes" lessons @ Yamaha. U were selective on whether to follow the class or not... To tell the truth, mum is worried. U r not enjoying song and dance like other children ur age. Perhaps u r not too interested? Aren't sure yet. We will keep trying!

Where have mama gone? No where actually, been tied up in school, as usual. Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov and finally, December.. U know how to go to the toilet urself now...though still reluctant because you said, "Got monster!" When u feel really brave, u will go to the toilet urself but I can see that u r stil thikg of monster... U sing loudly to distract urself. U wont dare to be at one place alone by urself, guess it's the monster thingy... except when u r watching "Cars". U have watched it 10 000 times, not an understatement at all! U could memorise the scenes n papa have bought u toys from this show. To date, 3 Lightning McQueen, 1 Doc Hudson, 2 Flo, 1 Mater and 1 Mack. U stil love cars, all sorts, u know what;s a convetible though u called it comfortable! One thing u had not outgrown, ur tantrums! I guess u r so used to everyone giving way to u when u throw a tantrum, that';s y it's staying? Only Mama dun give way... Ting Ting has joined ur family recently, i relly hope her arrival would put a curb to that tantrums of urs. we'll see.

It's busy July again...U have not ben learning too much in school but well u r getting older now. Pampers free since Jun 07. Learnt how to pee but still do not know how to pull ur pants up nor down properly...

It's May

Mum's a busy woman..ya. But still manage to spend time with u, little rascal. Y little rascal? Joei's now attending the same school as you and guess what, u became her bodyguard, escorting her to the toilet all the time. It will pass, (I certanily hope so) as long as Joei's settled down and you become less "kpo". I received my first mother's day card and heard my first birthday song from u, all in this month. Great..u sang nicely and of course, the teacher helped you with the card. U r speaking more mandarin now, not too bad, the foreigner's accent is less obvious now. U speak more words now and alas, u also have learnt how to bargain...."Mummy, I want something! One only!" " No." This happens a few times each day..so what's that something? FOOD! What else! U also know how to complain, I also hope u will outgrow this, I never ever really like complain kings in school. U will actually speak in a unjust tone and sort of to demand why grandma never scold jie jie when she takes your toy away. Pa gave u the name which means "to care for mother earth" and also "to have a magnanimous heart"...........

The bite!

Ha ha ha ha... u meet ur match! Krin, ur classmates, few months younger than u, BIT U! Well, u had ur share of biting others, so now it's ur turn to get bitten. Well, I took it like a pinch of salt. Children's play... More amazingly, u know wht u did? After u get bitten, u did not utter a sound, serious, not even a whine! U raise ur hand n told ur teacher "Teacher, my friend bit me." Exact words (according to ur teacher). Ur teacher asked if it's painful? U said, "Yes." It was a bad one, complete circle, the whole mouthful of teeth marks, blue blacked too. That's cool, young man. U r surprising me day in day out...love u more n more each day even with the kind of tantrums u r throwing.
